Tsinghua Unisplendor Founder High-Tech Ceramics Co. Ltd.
is a joint venture enterprise by four companies from the
mainland and Hongkong, including Tsinghua Unisplendor
Groups.
Its registered capital is 3.685 millions, and the total
investment is ¡ç7 millions. Its covered area is 7000 m2.
It is mainly engaged in the velopment, fabrication, selling
and related service of high-tech ceramics.
Its supporting team in techniques is the Department of
Materials Science and Engineering and the State Key Laboratory
of New Ceramics and Fine Processing of Tsinghua University.
The team consists of a number of prestigious scientists
andveteran engineers in structural ceramics community
in China. So, the developmentcapability of the company
is very strong.
The company possesses various advanced facilities for
preparation of raw materials, and the forming, sintering
and hining for high-tech ceramics. Some of the key equipments
are advanced in the world.
The products in the company include ultra-fine ceramic
powder and advanced structural ceramic products. They
consist of three types: oxide, nitride and carbide ceramics,
including Si3N4 ultrafine powder, ceramic cutting tools,
ZrO2 ceramic ision parts for optical fibers used in communication,
and other precise ceramic parts. The quality of the products
reaches the ced level ofthe world, and some of the products
were exported to the market oversea by batch quantity.
The product quality has been strictly controlled. Except
the measurement of raw materials, and the first, intermediate,
and end product inspection, the product quality of the
company, including microstructures, mechanical properties,
and ocesses parameters, etc., was analyzed and measured
by Tsinghua University, theState Institute of Building
Materials, the Materials Institute of Shanghai, andAerospace
Institute of 304, etc., which were authorized by the government.
From the foundation of the company then on, it has fulfilled,
and been taking on anumber of state projects, including
¡°85 and 95 National
Key Science andTechnology Project¡±, ¡°863 Project¡±, ¡°State
Key Production-Study-ResearchProject¡±, and ¡°National Exemplary
Project in High-tech Industrialization¡±. Itis the important
development and production base in structural ceramics
of StateScience and Technology Ministry.
High-tech ceramics belongs to new materials area. They
have very bright prospectin development and applications.
Now, the company is engaged in theindustrialization of
the scientific and technical payoffs in order to serve
betterto the various areas in national economy of the
